Our LUO-lighting system was inspired by the wooden toy railway system made by BRIO. Some of our customers also are reminded of their childhood, when they used to play with their Carrera racing cars. We had the pleasure to link our lighting solution back to its playful origin. Andretti is an Indoor Karting & Games family […]
LUOlight has a balanced light spectrum that makes it also suitable to illuminate plants in interior spaces. Our dark room tests have shown that plants that are lit with our LED modules grow and stay healthy. These visualizations show some applications: plant pots, floating gardens and green walls. Illumination of a green wall with straight modules, illumination […]
Our new PARE luminaire appears like an ordinary sliced piece of wood. It has three wooden elements interconnected with plywood gears that turn full 360 degrees. This means that this pile of wood can be opened and stretched- A multitude of shapes can be achieved with it. Depending on the shape it can create an […]
Our ArchiCAD library has now photometric light distribution based on accurate laboratory measurements. This is exciting news because planners will now be able to adjust and render LUO-light´´ s accurate light phenomenon in their projects. Deep gratitude to the GDL department at M.A.D. Helsinki for their programming.
Jätkä is a wooden luminaire that has an optical turning mechanism on its top. Similar to a pepper mill its head with an eccentrically placed COB LED can be rotated. By doing so the light beam is widened or narrowed. At the same time, the LED moves over a translucent sheet that dims the light. […]
Our LUOlight system has optical adapters that change the light distribution from wide-spreading and even to more limited and focused lighting. The adapters allow being combined for decorative purposes. This can create interesting combinations. They are attached by a simple push clip system. The diffuser is made from satin acrylics and the focused adapter is […]
The LUOlight system has various optical adapters that change the light distribution from wide-spreading to more focused light. In fact, the adapters allow being combined and mixed for decorative purposes which creates the most interesting blendings. The adapters can simply be clipped on the bamboo case on the fly.
To our lighting system belong several optical adapters that influence the light output. Push clips allow exchanging the optical adapters on the fly. The adapters allow these lighting aspects: even & wide-spreading light (diffuser optic) bundled light (lens optic) sharpened light beams (slit optic) This video illustrates the principles.
Virtual reality showrooms can help customers to learn about a product when a physical showroom is not in reach. Another reason that calls for unconventional modes of presentation is a lockdown situation such as the current pandemic. This video shows the interactive model of our Table/Floor version. It offers a convenient way to sense the […]
This video shows two suspended circles (4*MOD-D163), one circle with downlight lens optics the other with a diffuser. Each of the circles has four independent light sources. The lighting controller manages each of the light channels separately. On the left the two interfaces in the lighting control app with varying intensity values. Cool and warm […]
