Majakka

“ be guided by light“

MAJAKKA is a new luminaire made from wood. It is inspired by the lighthouse theme. It stands tall with a light source at the upper end that casts light in one direction. Two side panels can be folded around the center panel to narrow the light beam. This three-panel arrangement also allows for interpretation as a triptych.

Depending on the wooden element settings, MAJAKKA can create an intimate atmosphere or fully functional lighting. Thin birch veneer in the side panels allow the light to be filtered and change to a warm, soft glow that reminds of a camp fire.

Majakka works well as a floor or as a table-top luminaire. It is especially suitable to illuminate objects, art works or plant arrangements.

Majakka is powered by an ordinary USB-C charger, or it is connectable to any laptop.
